Here in Seattle, it seems like it has been a while since we have seen our homes consistently bathed in beautiful natural sunlight. So beautiful! So unforgiving! All of that sunshine provides the magical “just right light” that seems to show every speck of dust, dirt, water spots and grime we might not always see on our tile and stone surfaces.
So, what to do?
How about a “Simple Summer Clean”? All you really need is some hot soapy water and elbow grease. We recommend a basic mix of liquid dish detergent and hot water. Liquid dish detergent is mild and ph neutral enough to wash your hands in, but also strong enough to clean your dishes. (Maybe this is where the phrase “my floor is so clean you could eat off it” comes from!) Scrub with a white terry towel for best results and look at your tile gleam with clean.
If your tile needs more than a simple summer clean, we can help!
Wilson TLC offers full service tile and grout cleaning, using professional grade steam and chemicals when necessary. Check out these before and after pictures of an outdoor deck to see exactly what we can achieve! Happy Summer!
We have great news to share.
